Free Beer Sunday

On March 1 we are hosting Free Beer Sunday event, a fundraiser for Holding Space.
Holding Space was created to improve the quality of life and death for those with a terminal illness and their caregivers by offering support to meet basic needs, connect with community and create meaning.
Some in our community have the privilege to explore this in the comfort of the familiar, remaining in their own homes, and surrounded by long time friends and family. For others, their friends and family have dwindled in number. Perhaps they never had children or they have since moved far away. Maybe they are used to living alone. And now, for whatever reason, they are not able to. Maybe they have lost their home or the ability to care for it. Maybe they are in the process of letting go and simplifying their lifestyle in preparation for the final stage. Or perhaps they have been experiencing homelessness for some time.
Holding Space is the commitment to care for one another. It’s for those who seek to embrace life and face death with curiosity, love, and the support of community. We are located in an engaged and vibrant community of West Asheville, close to and within neighborhoods with families and shops and businesses and organizations that thrive because we support one another.

Enjoy refreshing local brew, and support a wonderful local non-profit.
+ Stroll 36,000 square ft of vintage, re-purposed, and gently used treasures!

P.S. Bring your own drinking vessel and help us reduce waste.
